Basin-scale studies\, oriented to the development of predictive tools for territorial information systems. 2. For a culture of vulnerability” returns to Genoa\, in the evocative setting of the Palazzo della Borsa\, a public event organized by the University of Genoa through the University Strategic Center for Security\, Risk and Vulnerability. \nThe event promotes a reflection on vulnerabilities: from natural risks to data security\, from export protection to the protection of micro\, small and medium-sized enterprises\, from personal health to workplace safety\, from social marginalization to violence against women. \nThe method adopted is dialogue and comparison between the sciences\, institutions and components of civil society that operate on the multiple growing uncertainties. \nThe result that we intend to pursue is the strengthening of a widespread cultural resource in order to make society\, as a whole\, more prepared for the different declinations of risk: this aim is part of UniGe’s third mission and is pursued through the University’s strategic centre SRV – security\, risk and vulnerability which organizes the initiative. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Program\nThursday\, June 12\, Natural Risks\nFocus on natural risks and how science studies them: floods\, heat waves and storm surges addressed not only from a scientific point of view but also from the perspective of those who must make decisions in emergency situations and intervene to mitigate their consequences. \n  \nThe day also represents the dissemination of the results of the extended partnership RETURN – Multi-Risk sciEnce for resilienT commUnities undeR a changiNg climate of which UniGe is part. \nFriday\, June 13\, 2025: Cybersecurity \nThe day is mainly dedicated to data security and how science develops knowledge for cybersecurity in order to protect critical infrastructures\, but also personal data.
