The initiative has a strongly informative objective. \nIn fact\, the research activities conducted within the Return project and the cascade calls in which the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria (Ercules and Maraia) participates will be presented. \nThis initiative offers an important opportunity to raise awareness among civil society on vulnerability and natural risks. \nThe presentation of the scientific results of the RETURN project in a public and interactive context is aimed at spreading the culture of risk and the importance of prevention and research in the field of structural engineering\, topics that are often little known especially in restricted communities that characterize many Italian geographical areas. All spokes and partners participate. \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” column_margin=”default” column_direction=”default” column_direction_tablet=”default” column_direction_phone=”default” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” row_border_radius=”none” row_border_radius_applies=”bg” overflow=”visible” overlay_strength=”0.3″ gradient_direction=”left_to_right” shape_divider_position=”bottom” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_tablet=”inherit” column_padding_phone=”inherit” column_padding_position=”all” column_element_direction_desktop=”default” column_element_spacing=”default” desktop_text_alignment=”default” tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_backdrop_filter=”none” column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” column_link_target=”_self” column_position=”default” gradient_direction=”left_to_right” overlay_strength=”0.3″ width=”1/1″ tablet_width_inherit=”default” animation_type=”default” bg_image_animation=”none” border_type=”simple” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid”][nectar_btn size=”small” open_new_tab=”true” button_style=”regular” button_color_2=”Accent-Color” icon_family=”none” text=”Download the Brochure here” url=”https://www.fondazionereturn.it/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/LOCANDINA_RISCHI_NAT_STRUTTURE_INFRASTR_A3_Finale-1_compressed.pdf”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:Polytechnic University of Turin - Conference on Risk Communication through Play.
DESCRIPTION:On May 30th at the Polytechnic University of Turin\, a conference on Risk Communication through play will be held\, which includes the dissemination of the scientific results of the RETURN project. \nThe initiative refers in particular to the involvement of the population and young generations in order to develop awareness of natural risks\, through gaming platforms (LEGO models). \nThe event includes: \n• Practical demonstrations with LEGO models\, organized in collaboration with the “Mi Lego al Territorio” team and with professors from the Universities of Florence\, Bologna and the Milan Polytechnic.\n• A conference open to the entire population\, which will take place in the Aula Magna of the Polytechnic of Turin\, with interventions dedicated to the dissemination of the results of the RETURN project and the communications of natural risks.\n• The creation of a network of Universities to promote risk awareness through innovative communication activities. The activity involves the participation of professors from the Universities of Florence\, Bologna and the Polytechnic of Milan and several professors from the RETURN project. \nThe initiative aims to strengthen the visibility of the RETURN project at a national level\, promoting public interest in the issues of awareness of natural risks and the related adaptation to the challenges of anthropization of the territory. \nThe spokes involved are VS1 – TS2 – TS3 – DS and the partners Politecnico di Milano University of Bologna University of Florence.\n \nApplications are open from 6 to 26 May\, the results will be communicated on 28 May. \n
