Descrizione e obiettivi
The project has the following objectives:
- Development, calibration and validation of new integrated numerical models for predicting the triggering and simulating the propagation of debris and mud flows.
Development of a new approach to assessing hazard scenarios based on the integration of geomorphological assessments with distributed hydrological models and 1D and 2D morphodynamic models already available in the Working Group.
Development of a rapid method for assessing the current and future functionality of existing mitigation measures, taking into account climate change scenarios.
