MERIDIA – Computer processing models for multi-risk and geological hazards using Earth observation data

SPOKE VS2 - Ground Instabilities

Description and objectives

The MERIDIA project has the following objectives:

Task 1.1 – Collection of input data through consultation with members of the RETURN consortium.
Task 1.2 – Data augmentation procedure: numerical-statistical variation of input data within realistic intervals.
Task 1.3 – Stress testing of the tool chains previously developed by RETURN with the varied data to validate the stability of the outputs with respect to measurement uncertainties.
Task 2.1 – Analysis and selection of the data integration method for returning the outputs of the tool chains.
Task 2.2 – Selection of the optimal algorithm for defining multi-hazards.
Task 2.3 – Determination of the temporal component for the representation of multi-hazard scenari0s.
