SPOKE VS4 - Environmental Degradation
Description and objectives
E-TRACE aims to develop a new methodology for assessing environmental risks resulting from anthropogenic activities and their synergistic effects with the impacts of climate change on biodiversity and ecosystems of high ecological value.
The E-TRACE project arises from the need to develop mitigation and adaptation strategies based on the assessment of contamination levels in critical areas (such as lagoon ecosystems) and potential ecotoxicological impacts, in order to optimize and implement multi-layered risk analyses for a proper evaluation of ecosystem impacts, also considering possible consequences for human health.
