Descriprion and objectives

The project has the following objectives:

Development and sharing of advanced algorithms for the characterization of flood events and calculation of flood-prone areas on coastal sections of interest, using high-resolution digital elevation models (DEM) based on historical and forecast data on extreme coastal water levels, combining various contributions such as, by way of example and without limitation, wave run-up and set-up, storm surge, mean sea level rise, etc.
