The Oceanography Unveiled workshops were initially launched in 2024 by OGS and CNR-ISMAR. The project was also joined by theUniversity of Naples Parthenope, the University of Rome La Sapienza, theUniversity of Salento, the University of Venice Ca’ Foscari anche the Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn (SZN) involving a large part of the Italian oceanographic community.
The seminar cycle is also part of the dissemination, education and technology transfer initiatives of the PNRR RETURN project – Multi-Risk sciEnce for resilienT communities underR a changiNg climate, with particular reference to Spoke 1, 4, 8 (pollution, climate, environmental degradation); they also represent a contribution to the Ocean Decade and are sponsored by the quantitative sustainability laboratory TQLS.
