On September 3, 2025, Eurac Research in Bolzano will host the side event of the PNRR RETURN project: “From knowledge to action: knowledge, beliefs, and cooperation for disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation.”
The event will focus on interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity in addressing climate risk, exploring how to integrate natural and social sciences to tackle the complex challenges at the intersection of human and natural systems.
Key topics will include:

Public-private cooperation for resilient communities
The program will feature two sessions with professors and researchers from Italian academic institutions. The event will close with a networking session and a theatrical performance exploring the role of scientific research in the context of climate change.
Participation is free, but registration is required by July 18, 2025.
